The NASDTEC Online Community KnowledgeBase (KB)

Since 1984, the National Association of Directors of Teacher Education and Certification (NASDTEC) has provided members with the KnowledgeBase of Preparation and Certification of Educational Personnel. While initially it was a manual printed every two years, its current format as a database-driven map provides up-to-date information pertaining to the preparation, certification, and fitness of teachers and other school personnel.

No edition of the KB can be produced without the countless hours of work contributed by state and agency personnel who read and update sections of the data on behalf of their jurisdictions to ensure an accurate and up-to-date KB. NASDTEC extends a very special thanks to each and all of those persons, NASDTEC seeks to be responsive to the needs and concerns of its members as well as to others who are interested in the preparation of teachers and other school personnel.
