NCAEE Facilitator

Dr. Anne Marie Fenton serves as the Facilitator for National Council for the Advancement of Educator Ethics (NCAEE), a NASDTEC special Committee.

As the Facilitator, Dr. Fenton is responsible for managing the NCAEE work to achieve the Council’s mission and serves as the liaison between the NCAEE and the NASDTEC Executive Board.

In addition to her role as the NCAEE Facilitator, Dr. Fenton serves as Director of Rules Management and Educator Assessment for the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC). Prior to joining the GaPSC, Anne Marie held several positions in Kennesaw State University’s Bagwell College of Education across nine years, preparing pre-service candidates, supporting in-service educators, and serving most recently as Associate Director of the Center for Service, Outreach, and Partnerships. She is a former classroom teacher and has many years of corporate experience. A past NASDTEC President, Anne Marie currently facilitates the National Council for the Advancement of Educator Ethics (NCAEE) and the NASDTEC Forward Fund, and serves as the Vice President of the Professional Education Standards Board Association (PESBA). She is the recipient of NASDTEC’s 2016 Doug Bates Award, and, in 2017, an Exemplary Service Award from the Georgia Association of Educational Leaders (GAEL) for her work with the Georgia Educational Leadership Faculty Association (GELFA). In 2018, she received NASDTEC's Distinguished Leadership Award, and received the Georgia Assessment Directors' Association (GADA)’s Leadership Award in 2018. She holds her B.S. from Kennesaw State University, her M.Ed. from the State University of West Georgia, and her Ed.S. from Georgia State University.
