Professional Learning Coordinator

Susan Pinson is NASDTEC's Professional Learning Coordinator.

In the role, Ms. Pinson will work closely with the NASDTEC Professional Education Committee (PEC) to develop and expand professional learning opportunities for NASDTEC members.

Ms. Pinson has dedicated her career to advancing public education through various impactful roles, including classroom teacher, district technology integration specialist, and professional learning leader. At the Oklahoma State Department of Education, she spearheaded teacher retention initiatives through a statewide program supporting early-career educators, site-based mentors, and virtual instructional coaches. Additionally, she oversaw the development and implementation of a statewide learning management system, which offered asynchronous professional development modules and micro-credentialing opportunities. As Deputy Director at the Office of Educational Quality and Accountability, Ms. Pinson led accreditation reviews for Educator Preparation Providers at higher education institutions and directed teacher licensure assessments. Her work reflects a steadfast commitment to empowering educators through quality professional learning.
