About Us

PESBA Chairperson

Jeff Briske serves as the Educator Licensure Director within the Nevada Department of Education’s Office of Educator Development, Licensure & Family Engagement (EDLiFE). In this role, he leads the development, oversight, and implementation of educator licensure, evaluation, and professional development policies across the state. He also plays an integral role in broader educator preparation and retention initiatives, including programs such as the Teach Nevada Scholarship, Incentivizing Pathways to Teaching, and state grants for educator preparation. Briske also serves as the Secretary to the Commission on Professional Standards in Education for Nevada, supporting the commission’s work on regulatory standards, teacher credentialing, and policy decision-making.

PESBA Vice Chair

Dr. Linnea Bradshaw serves as the Executive Director for the Delaware Professional Standards Board (PSB), which handles educator certification, licensure, and professional standards in Delaware. In that capacity, she helps guide regulatory work, policy development, and oversight related to educator credentials across K–12 in the state. She also acts as a point of liaison between the Delaware Department of Education and the Professional Standards Board for matters of licensure, certification, emergency credentials, and related policy.

PESBA Member at Large

Anne Marie Fenton is the Director of Rules Management and Educator Assessment. She also engages in professional ethics work at the national level, serving as Facilitator for the National Council for the Advancement of Educator Ethics (NCAEE). at the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC). She oversees rule development, revisions, and regulatory oversight for certification and licensure in Georgia, as well as the assessment programs used in Georgia's educator certification system. She has been active in presenting proposed certification and preparation rule changes to the GaPSC Commission, facilitating public comment and adoption of educator preparation, certification, and ethics rules.

PESBA’s Executive Committee is elected by the membership and may serve a term of up to four years.
