Registration is now open, and we urge you to make your plans now to be in historic and beautiful Boston, Massachusetts for this year’s NASDTEC Annual Conference, June 14-16, at the Boston Hyatt Regency

Additional events will be held on Saturday, June 13, when we will have the popular pre-session, Annual Regional Conversations, beginning at 1:00 p.m., and, on the morning of Wednesday, June 17, the ETS Symposium will be held, so plan to arrive in Boston for those pre/post-sessions with your peers!

The 2020 NASDTEC Annual Conference offers outstanding general sessions:

·         Thomas Kaneeconomist and Walter H. Gale Professor of Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education: Future Directions in Teacher Evaluation and Feedback

·         Tony MacKay, CEO and President National Center on Education and the Economy: Preparing a Standards-Based Expert Educator Profession: A Global Movement

·         Troy Hutchings, NASDTEC Senior Advisor: Moral Character and the Redemption of Educators

·         Lynn Gangone, President and CEO, American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education: AACTE Perspectives

·         Jai Mehta, Distinguished Professor in the Harvard Graduate School of Education: Raising the Bar to the Profession

·         Blaise Aguirre, Medical Director McLean Hospital and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, Harvard University: Sustaining the Emotional Health and Well-being of Educators

Twenty-eight concurrent sessions are also planned from a wide variety of NASDTEC partners and stakeholders, including AACTE, Westat, CAEP, AAQEP, National Board, and a host of model programs and practitioners, each of whom does what you do every day.

We are continuing our recent addition of the NASDTEC Interactive Block of sessions, which are particularly helpful to our members who are new in their roles with either a state office or higher education provider.

As usual, perhaps the greatest value of NASDTEC will be the informative sessions and the opportunity to network with peers and these outstanding speakers.

The draft agenda, hotel details, and registration materials are now available here.  The Hyatt Regency is just a few blocks away from the historic Faneuil Hall district, the beautiful and very walkable Boston Common, and it features theatres and shopping just around the corner.

Please note that this year’s dates are a bit later than usual; however, our conference hotel is extending a special rate below government per diem for Boston at $239/night while our room block last
